Pandemic Pandemonium!

Is it just a coincidence, or was it planned all along? Seems to me the timing is just too tightly knit to be coincidence!

Everyone has seen the powers that control our world force closure on all types of legitimate and necessary businesses to contain the so-called spread of a questionable “virus”. But how many have noticed that some places of business have been deemed “essential” (an arbitrary judgment, by the way!!) while others have been forced to close because they have been judged to be “non-essential”? I have, and a few others I’ve talked to have mentioned the same thing…

For one thing, clothing is considered “non-essential”, so clothing stores are closed. The playgrounds and parks are off limits. Could it be that good health must be non-essential? Barbers and hair stylists have been shut down. Our local laundry-mat is closed!! Clean clothes are not essential?!? Medical clinics and dentist offices are closed; non-essential. Pity the poor guy with an abscess! Optometrists are shut down; non-essential. Essential transportation for seniors and the handicapped is stopped, or ridiculously reduced!

But the LIQUOR STORES are wide open! The CANNABIS STORES are all open for business!

Which brings me to another point: the TIMING of the legalization of marijuana, how propitious! It was slated to be legalized last July, but had to wait until October. Hmmm! How convenient! Shortly after it was legalized, pot stores popped up ALL OVER; and very shortly after that, this world-wide panic. And they’re still OPEN, meaning the government considers marijuana a NECESSITY. Like liquor. Nevermind that this will cause some to join the addictions club, having nothing else to do to stave off the despair caused by having their entire livelihoods destroyed by the overblown reaction to the so-called “pandemic”!!

Maybe that’s the idea…?

In a recent article in our local propaganda sheet, I mean, “news”paper, I see the government has already foreseen the need for INCREASING mental health supports, now isn’t that just another propitious event? Of course it’s “in response to COVID-19”! But what else could all this perfect timing BE, but great planning?

Within the article, we can read that “The Government of Alberta is investing $21.4 million to improve access to phone and online supports…” My guess is that the now unemployed taxpayer will have to foot the bill. “Further spending will contribute to … supporting people who may not be able to access face-to-face services…”

Ya don’t say? Having been forced to “self-isolate”, and not having any places to go to now, ya think they didn’t plan that all along?

To continue: “It’s important that Albertans in all corners of the province have access to the mental health and addiction supports they need. … – $2.6 million to expand … treatment to address family violence and addiction… – $4.2 million to expand addiction and mental health support… – $25 million … to enhance community mental health and addiction recovery…”

Not being allowed to get outside in the fresh air and sunshine to play; not being allowed to work; not even being allowed to send the kids to school; no wonder people are getting a bit wound up and irritable!!

Is it any mystery then that they left the liquor stores and cannabis stores open? They know that many people in the current situation will likely turn to these unhealthy sources to cope. Creating more addictions and mental health problems, more family violence and depression.

Something is very terribly wrong with this picture!!

And there’s so much more that could be said, but enough is enough!

  1. In the US they also deemed clothing “not essential”. Our stupid governor made all the thrift stores and churches close (which some have clothing drives or giveaways). And, they aren’t picking up donations, so any place that has clothing dump off sites, people are leaving their bags of donations out in the open to get rained on. The news said that the stuff is eventually going to be thrown out. I would suggest going on freecycle.org or some place if you need clothes for you or your family. This is BS! Oh as an aside, our governor Wolf had a furniture making business that he owned put on the “essential” list- until he got exposed and had to close it. What a hypocrite! He seems to want to keep his money rolling in, but damn the rest of us!

    1. They’re ALL hypocrites!! Of course they don’t want themselves to suffer the things they are forcing on the rest of us!
But we need to trust God, get rid of all our sin, and be ready to “lose our heads”.
